Getting Started

How do I export my WhatsApp chat?

To export your WhatsApp chat:

  1. Open WhatsApp on your phone
  2. Go to the chat you want to export
  3. Tap the menu (⋮) or contact name at the top
  4. Select "More" then "Export chat"
  5. Choose "Include Media" if you want photos/videos
  6. Save the file to your device
  7. Upload the file to our website
Tip: Including media will create a ZIP file with your chat and all media files.
What file formats do you accept?

We accept two file formats:

  • .txt files: Text-only chat exports (no media)
  • .zip files: Chat exports with media files included

Both formats are generated automatically by WhatsApp when you export a chat.

Do you support Bengali and other languages?

Yes! Our service supports all languages that WhatsApp supports, including:

  • Bengali (বাংলা)
  • Hindi (हिन्दी)
  • Arabic (العربية)
  • Chinese (中文)
  • Spanish (Español)

Your chats are 100% private and secure!

We use client-side processing, which means:

  • Your chat files are processed entirely in your browser
  • No chat content is ever transmitted to our servers
  • We cannot see, access, or store your conversations
  • All processing happens locally on your device
  • Your data never leaves your computer

We only collect minimal information for payment processing (name, email) when you purchase premium features.

How long does the export process take?

Processing time depends on your chat size and device performance:

  • Small chats (100-1,000 messages): 30 seconds - 2 minutes
  • Medium chats (1,000-10,000 messages): 2-5 minutes
  • Large chats (10,000+ messages): 5-15 minutes
  • Very large chats (50,000+ messages): 15-30 minutes

Processing with media files takes longer than text-only exports.

What browsers are supported?

Our service works on all modern browsers:

  • Recommended: Chrome 90+, Firefox 88+, Safari 14+, Edge 90+
  • Mobile: Chrome Mobile, Safari Mobile, Firefox Mobile
  • Requirements: JavaScript enabled, minimum 2GB RAM available
Note: Internet Explorer is not supported due to modern web API requirements.
Can I use this on my phone or tablet?

Yes! Our service works on mobile devices, but there are some considerations:

  • Supported: iOS Safari, Android Chrome, Samsung Browser
  • Performance: Larger chats may process slower on mobile
  • Memory: Devices with 3GB+ RAM recommended for large exports
  • Battery: Keep device plugged in for large chat processing

For best performance with large chats, we recommend using a desktop or laptop computer.

  • Process: Contact support with transaction ID and issue description

Can you see my messages or media files?
Absolutely not! We cannot and do not see your chat content.

Here's how our privacy-first approach works:

  • All processing happens in your browser using JavaScript
  • Chat files are read and processed locally on your device
  • No chat data is transmitted to our servers
  • We only handle payment processing and user registration
  • Even our support team cannot access your chat content
What data do you collect?

We collect minimal data required for service operation:

  • Payment Data: Name, email, country (for premium users)
  • Usage Analytics: Page views, feature usage (anonymized)
  • Technical Data: Browser type, device info, error logs
  • Chat Data: None - processed locally only

Is it legal to export WhatsApp chats?

Yes, it's legal to export your own WhatsApp chats, but consider:

  • Your chats: You own your conversation history

Important: Only export chats you have legitimate rights to, and use them responsibly.

Troubleshooting

My export failed or got stuck. What should I do?

Try these troubleshooting steps:

  1. Refresh the page and try again
  2. Close other browser tabs to free up memory
  3. Try a different browser (Chrome recommended)
  4. Check if your chat file is corrupted by opening it in a text editor
  5. Try exporting the chat from WhatsApp again
  6. For large chats, try using a desktop computer instead of mobile

If the problem persists, contact our support team with details about your browser, device, and the error you're seeing.

The exported PDF looks wrong or has formatting issues

Common PDF issues and solutions:

  • Text not displaying: Your browser may not support the required fonts. Try Chrome or Firefox.
  • Media missing: Ensure you uploaded a ZIP file with media included
  • Wrong language display: The chat export may have encoding issues from WhatsApp
  • Layout problems: Try the HTML export option for better formatting

For Bengali and other non-Latin scripts, HTML export often provides better results than PDF.

I can't upload my chat file

File upload issues and solutions:

  • Wrong format: Only .txt and .zip files are accepted
  • File too large: Very large files (>100MB) may fail. Try exporting without media first.
  • Corrupted file: Try exporting the chat from WhatsApp again
  • Browser issues: Try a different browser or clear your browser cache
Supported file formats: - WhatsApp Chat Export.txt (text only) - WhatsApp Chat with [Contact Name].zip (with media)
Payment was successful but I can't access premium features

If payment succeeded but features aren't unlocked:

  1. Wait 2-3 minutes for payment verification to complete
  2. Refresh the page and try again

  5. Try using an incognito/private browser window
